Financial Services Firm, Investor Advisory Committee Meetings
A long-standing FIRST financial services client was due to host its in-person Advisory Committee Meetings in early June. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, they decided to reassess their options and proceed with a virtual format, with three separate meetings held over two days and featuring 30 different speakers. With broad digital event expertise, FIRST provided end-to-end management for the transition to digital, working closely with the client team on replicating the planned live environment, maximizing flexibility and face-to-face participant interaction, and optimizing the overall event for online delivery and engagement. It was a seamless collaboration between the client team and FIRST to ensure utmost preparedness for the program. This included; sharing virtual best practices, working adaptively to host the meetings on the client’s own platform, providing all speakers with the correct setup and technical orientations and conducting a series of rehearsals pre-event. The end result was seven hours of successful virtual meetings across the two days with high attendee engagement, smooth handovers between presenters, interactive Q&A’s and concluded with closed in-camera sessions for the investors.
